Foi divulgado nesta quarta-feira (23) a lista de indicados do American Music Awards 2025. Kendrick Lamar saiu na liderança com dez indicações, seguido por Post Malone com oito e Billie Eilish, Chappel Roan e Shaboozey com sete cada. Veja a lista completa!

Entre as indicações de Kendrick Lamar estão as honrosas Álbum do Ano, por “GNX”, e Música do Ano, por “Not Like Us”. Porém, o feito mais impressionante do rapper neste ano ficou mesmo para categoria Canção de Hip Hop, onde ele detém três indicações entre as cinco do total: “Like That”, com Future e Metro Boomin, “Not Like Us” e “Luther”, com SZA.
Com tantas indicações, em 2025 Kendrick Lamar poderá se igualar a Michael Jackson e Whitney Houston com o maior número de vitórias num mesmo ano, caso ele leve a melhor em pelo menos oito categorias.
Outro nome importante do AMA neste ano é Post Malone. O artista emplacou oito indicações, entre elas Álbum do Ano e Música do Ano, além de três indicações em categorias de country. Post Malone também concorre em Colaboração do Ano com as canções “I Had Some Help” e “Fortnight”, ambas com Taylor Swift.

As mulheres do pop também foram reconhecidas com múltiplas indicações no AMA 2025. Billie Eilish e Chappell Roan ganharam sete indicações cada, já Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, SZA e Taylor Swift – que é a maior vencedora da premiação, com 40 prêmios no total – empataram com seis indicações.
Vale destacar que, neste ano, as categorias Álbum do Ano e Artista do Ano foram dominadas por mulheres. Na primeira, sete dos dez indicados são artistas femininas, entre elas Beyoncé, Taylor Swift e Charli XCX. Já na segunda, seis dos dez também são mulheres, entre elas Ariana Grande,SZA e Chappell Roan.
O AMA 2025 acontecerá no dia 26 de maio, em Las Vegas, e será transmitido na TV pela CBS e na internet via Paramount+.
