O cantor norte-americano Khalid soltou uma prévia de seu novo clipe, “Out Of Body”, e já está dando o que falar. O teaser mostra o artista fazendo “banheirão”, uma prática conhecida da cultura queer. O vídeo passou de 700 mil reproduções no X (Twitter) e 800 mil visualizações no Instagram em três horas.

“Banheirão” é uma gíria LGBT+ para encontros sexuais casuais realizados entre homens em banheiros públicos de shoppings, rodoviárias, estações de metrô, casas noturnas, entre outros lugares. No teaser divulgado, Khalid aparece ficando com outro homem na pia e, depois, saindo de uma cabine reservada cercado por outras pessoas.

Khalid tornou pública sua homossexualidade no fim de 2024, após insinuações do cantor Hugo D Almonte sobre ter tido um namoro com ele. “Fui tirado do armário e o mundo continua a girar. Vamos deixar isso claro: eu não tenho vergonha da minha sexualidade. Na verdade, não é da conta de ninguém. Estou bem comigo”,Khalid twittou na época.

Álbum novo de Khalid

“Out Of Body” será o segundo single do próximo álbum dele, “After the Sun Goes Down”, que sairá em 10 de outubro. O primeiro single foi “In Plain Sight”, lançado em agosto.

Khalid já colocou três álbuns no Top 10 da Billboard 200, incluindo “Free Spirit” (2019) no topo. Além disso, já colocou 32 faixas na Billboard Hot 100, sendo cinco delas no Top 10. Sua melhor posição na parada de singles foi em 3º lugar, com “1-800-273-8255” (com Logic e Alessia Cara) em 2017 e “Talk” em 2019.
